At LinguaBooks, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors to our website and subscribers to the LinguaBooks Newsletter. Below you will find details of how we process data collected when someone visits our website or subscribes to the LinguaBooks Newsletter.
Visitors to our website
We do not collect any personally identifiable information through our website except where you specifically enter this information for us to process (for example when purchasing items online).
We may occasionally us a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect statistical information about visitor behaviour patterns, such as the number of visitors to different parts of the site. Newsletter subscriptions
When someone signs up for the LinguaBooks Newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information to send out the newsletter and related information; for example, we may contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information or keep our records up to date and advise you of important changes. We do not use this information for any other purpose. We do not pass on personal data to any third party. We do not rent or trade email lists with other organisations or businesses.
We use a third party provider, MailChimp, to deliver the LinguaBooks Newsletter. We use industry standard technologies to collect statistics relating to the opening of emails and to the number of clicks. We do this in order to help us improve our service and ensure that the LinguaBooks Newsletter remains relevant and of interest to our subscribers. If we launch any additional newsletter or carry out any email marketing campaign at any time, we will follow out the same practice as set out above for the LinguaBooks Newsletter.
